Holy CRUD! This place rules. The price is amazing, and pretty much everything except for the sushi is awesome. Plus, free soda. I mean seriously, FREE SODA. What more do you want from a chinese buffet, honestly? These people have it down. The atmosphere is a little pedestrian/ho-hum, but the price, selection, and quality more than make up for it. I've already been here twice and I can not wait to go a third time. Definitely a place to bring friends and chill out for a minute after working up an appetite.

For $8.50 per person, the buffet is pretty cheap and there's a decent selection. However, most of the items didn't seem that fresh and the service was bland. I did not receive a "thank you" on the way out, which didn't help their cause.

Eh, it's OK. I am not much a buffet type of guy anymore because I hate to see people throw away and waste food. However, I will give them credit for posting signs that say "Do not waste food!" So with that, I give them credit. I used to go to so many cheap china buffet restaurants in Hialeah, FL back when I was a little kid. However, over time, they have just gotten really bad and disgusting. It is sad to see what has happened to them. Well, this place brings me back to the great memories of when I was small and the food those restaurants used to serve. I have never been able to go back in time until today. For that, I also give them credit. The place is packed on Sundays and it's extremely noisy. It is pretty big, but seems small because of the amount of people dining. However, what do you expect for pretty OK food at a good price? They also have a sushi bar and another type of bar (the name escapes me, sorry) where they do custom orders. All in all, it's OK and I would come back. They have every single different types of foods so even if you don't like Chinese food, they have pizza and ice cream, LOL! It's all for about $8 p/p. Enjoy! :)

Would give 2-1/2 stars if that were an option, especially as a first time customer. But if you're savvy to this place & carefully pick & choose only the freshest, tastiest and best prepared appetizers & entrees from among many that are not ... & pair those with select sauces hiding elsewhere on the buffet you might even assemble a 4 star meal for about $7 (the $7.70 check included tax.) Soups were OK, salads mezzo-mezzo, most of the sushi rolls contained either yucky cream cheese and/or imitation krab which I either dissected out or just said no to. Is this how sushi's prepared in Japan? ... what are these gringo buffet joints thinking? Ambience OK for a buffet joint, tea OK, ice cream likewise. Pleasant waitresses in red dresses removed my used dishes whenever I went up for another round. Uptown Buffet won't impress company but seemed clean & unpretentious & you won't leave hungry or sick ... which is not such a sure bet I'm told with some other Asian buffets around town.
